The Studio

Hestia & Hearth is a London interior design studio and curated homeware store, founded by Frank Newbold and based near London Bridge. We design considered residential and commercial interiors across London, The Cotswolds and Further affield - from super-prime apartments in Mayfair to coastal retreats in Cornwall - creating timeless spaces that draw a building's architectural character into its interiors, complementing and elevating the original fabric while accommodating the way our clients actually live.

Our Philosophy

Every project begins with three things - architecture, scale and proportion. Before a single finish is chosen, we resolve how a space is structured, how it flows, and how it feels to stand in. From there, a strong emphasis on materiality, craftsmanship and form carries each scheme through, resulting in spaces that are consistently unique to their building and their owner.

Our approach is material-led. We layer natural materials, earthy tones and honest textures, blending vintage finds with contemporary craft. Sustainability isn't a footnote for us - it shapes what we source, who we commission, and why we'd always rather restore a beautiful old piece than buy a forgettable new one.

Frank

Frank founded Hestia & Hearth in 2020 after working with some of the capital's leading design studios. A television appearance on Netflix's Interior Design Masters came early in his career; the years since have been spent refining his craft, building a studio, and earning the trust of clients at the very top of the residential market. He is a collector at heart: antiques, objects and materials with a story to tell that run through every scheme.

The Store

Alongside the studio sits our store - a curated collection of homeware, antiques and considered objects, chosen with the same eye we bring to our projects. Jane, Frank's mother and the studio's discerning second pair of eyes, leads the sourcing of new pieces - a family affair in the truest sense.

Where We Work

We are based in London, working across the capital on residential and commercial commissions, with projects across the UK and roots in the Cotswolds and Home Counties. Wherever the postcode, the promise is the same: interiors with genuine character, built to last and designed to be lived in.
